Maybe you haven't cracked the throttle that much before?
I put it down to the fact that mine is the carb model and they don't have accelerator pumps.
Took a while to get used to but now I don't do it anymore.

Not riding any different now than I have for the last year and it's only just started happening so I want it fixed!!

Yeah mine only just started doing it too, coincided with the std can going back on.... Be very interested to hear what your dealer says

Have you seen this? The bit about the airbox-carb junction air leak might be worth checking out.

Aye, i've had that... The screw that secures the seal can be so awkward to get to, I think someone had just not bothered to do it at some point...
