It's an incredible looking piece of metal (black would be better) although I'm not sure I like the can.

Nice looking beast IMHO, inluding the can. Strange that a black frame suits this bike, but not the SV.

What's the point of a GSXR1K on the road unless you're a willy waver or a wheelie monster anyway, you'll get more out of a 600/750.
On the road it's easier to ride, lots more torque, never having to look for the right gear. You don't need to be in a position where you can thrash the hell out of your current bike before you move on, more a case of you want a change.
while your not wrong I would suggest that most people that buy GSXR1000's dont think like this. Think about what the average rider thought of the Blade when it came out and the TL1000S. You could say the same about them but those were not the words that passed the lips of the riders when aboard!

Well maybe it 's because I'm getting old, but I do tend to look on the logical side of things these days.... But it is a GSXR, and some us have Gixer in the blood
