With a hefty call out charge not doubt. I think i'll stick with the plan to get the key number then I can proper suzuki ones.

I've got a couple of people working on getting the original one back but i'm impatient to get back out on her.

I never got the manual when I bought the bike unfortunately or that would have been the first place i'd have looked. Good news on the 12 quid though, that's cheaper than I expected.

Yea but don't quote me on that though but I believe I recall someone else on here having the same problem as you and paying that.

All the best.

Thanks for the timely reminder. I have been meaning to get a spare key for a while.

Just been out to my local locksmith to get a copy cut £4.50.

NEXT QUESTION:

Just been to have a look at removing the ignition barrel and discovered that it's gonna take a security torx bit (which makes sense).

But the question is which size? as I don't have any at present and don't want to buy some to find that none fit. The set i've seen for a tenner has T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30 and T40.

Damn, it appears to be somewhere between T30 and T40 so still no better off. Need to see if I can borrow one from one of the friendly local SVers.
