they do i saw them do it. the errors come up on the pc screen.
They do connect it to a PC now using new software through Suzuki. Shows up all the fault codes.
Does this give more detailed information? I found putting the bike into dealer mode with a humble peice of wire to give the error code was adequate when I needed to find out what I did to create an error in the first place

when the bike is born they wrap it up in a nice cardboard box with some bits in bags!

It is then up to an apprentice to plug everything in in the right places.

I would make sure you check it over properly when you pick it up. Has he put the right amount of oil and brake fluids in it?

When a bike comes in it is in a crate. Nothing needs plugging in apart from the bettery terminal connectors as the battery needs aciding up.

Then its clean brakes, bolt check, add mirrors, screen, pretty much general stuff.

The oil and brake fluids are already in the bike. The only thing that normally needs topping up is the coolant after the road test.

So might be worth you checking the battery terminal connectors are screwed in right as that could cause a misfire.

Yes the SDS software does show more than you can see on the "pin" test...

Yes the SDS software does show more than you can see on the "pin" test...including if you have redlined it whilst running in!!! and a few other bits which i cant say..

no, just crap ap typing!

what i was sayin gis, they will apply the same bike fixing method to a computer, ie , mess about with it using a screwdriver and hope for the best,

no insult meant to any suzuki mechanics on here, but i have had nasty probs with them before!!

Yes they will use a screwdriver but some do use common sense when fixing bikes.

TBH generalisation comments like that go down as well with a mechanic as they do with a biker when a car driver calls them a typical biker c*nt!.

You wouldnt like to be tarred with the same brush as some bikers..works the same with people in other walks of life.

Just remember...no mechanics=no bike shops=no bike!.

ok ok, i hear you and maybee i should have bit my tounge, and like i said, im talking only about the mechananics that have worked on my bike, and once, messed it up so bad i couldnt ride away, 2, missed bent forks on an accident assement, 3 broke my restrictor kit when fitting it and 4 didnt connect my oil breather hose to the air box so spt oil all down my leg over the bike and could have killed me!!!

i think i have a right to complain about those mechanics, dont u?

i do appologise if any other suzuki mechanica have read this and though im a C*nt, im not and sure u r grat at ur job.

im sure there are great mechanics out there, i must have just landed 4 bad ones in a row (not said sarcastically)

And I ended up with an engine rebuild at 600 miles because some time served mechanic left the oil filler cap loose after the first service

I was without a brand new bike for 3 weeks
