I've done about 4-5000 on 020s (front and back) and they still look in very good nick.

I do about 50/50 town/fast A-road riding (rarely motorway). I got rid of the D220s before I needed too, so not sure I can compare.

Saying that, Z6 seem to be the tyre of choice atm.

Have a look in the tyre section....

the 010's have now been replaced by 014's, 020's are good but bit long in the tooth now,

Preferred tyres atm are Continental Roadattacks and Metzler Z6's.

Booked in for some Z6s to be fitted early next week. £220 all in. Bit more pricey than I'd like, but conveniant as it's v. nearby and the existing tyres are in such a bad state (can see the mesh inside ) that I don't want to ride more than a couple of miles crawl to the dealership.

I'll have to do a bit of evening riding to get them scrubbed in, in time for the rideout.
