damm you made me check when mine was due, 30th May so a couple of weeks before I can get it in.

I suppose I am fortuante that my MOT man views a loud exhaust as an essential safety item. He is very tight on safety. last time I was there he was arguing with a guy who had failed because of his lock stop. The tank stopped the bars turning.

He told him how to fix it, and would do a free retest, but in that condition it was a fail. But cans, reflectors, plates. not a problem

Blimy, yours got more warning than mine did. I only had a slack chain, which was done when i got home.

Mine's booked in for saturday, spose I'd better adjust the chain first, just to stop it dragging on the tarmac if nothing else
