Having been a wuss and used a gas BBQ for 19 years , I'm seriously contemplating going charcoal, as I reckon the results are better (if slower). My missus doesn't agree (but she never does )

The type of fuel matters little for a bbq...but the basic knowledge of how to cook is I suggest crucial. Don't expect to just throw any old thing on there and expect perfect results.

The best BBQ food always has good preparation before hand.

you need a spray bottle filled with cooking oil,

you spray the food with it while its cooking.

(and stand back, it flames up)

put your fish in foil and bake folks. check every now and then until the skin peals away (fresh trout, salmon). squeeze a lil fresh lemon over fish....yum. brush meat with a little oil. 10-40w does it for me
