The rider went into the corner way too fast...it seems he didn't know the corner and had to lean it until it fell off the tyres.

Poor planning.

Fortunatley...it was slow speed and the bike wasn't totaled

The tip from this clip is don't write cheques your ass can't cash.

Not sure about that... If you look, he'a actually leaning further before he hits the apex.

When I saw the slo-mo replay I thought "Camber change" too.

Oh yes I see that now!

Camber change...what did the rider think happened?

watch the brake lights, he's trailing brake right past the apex, went in way too hot and tried to correct it, got it leant over and then tried to drive out, power to the rear at maximum lean and the tyre went "SCREW YOU" on the teeny-tiny contact patch he still had left.

a few degrees / mph less and he probably would have just skipped a bit

I've also got a feeling that the footrest (as the bike was at maximum lean) might have dug in and levered the rear tyre slightly off the ground, which would have caused this too.

Possible... It looks like he could have gotten his knee out much further than he did.
I was taught that you stick your knee out to gauge how far you have the bike over.

Did they make a video of his second crash?

Hmm...Not too sure about the going too fast to be honest. He obviously felt he needed to keep scrubbing a little pace of though due to the tightness of the bend. Maybe he just turned in too early?

So rear wheel braking, full lean and adverse camber? Didn't have a lot going in his favour did he poor fella!

I don't see that at all... Seems to me that he was done braking before he turned in, certainly nowhere near the apex. What looks like the light going out mid-turn is the bike turning to the point where the rear light is less visible, i think.

Razor, he could have stuck his knee out further but it wouldn't have stopped him crashing.
