I haven't got any good pics at the moment. I'll clean her tomorrow if the weathers good and get some decent pics then.

It doesn't make a lot more horsepower than the SV but there is a lot more torque. Overtaking very rarely involves shifting to 5th now.

What engine?

Supersports bikes. I'm not into having to ride above 9000rpm to get real power out of an engine. 1-2BHP was a bit of a daft figure but you get the idea.

As for pics. I've just cleaned her and got the camera out.

Now I just need a carbon tank protector instead of that cheap and nasty one.

The clutch cover is a nightmare to keep clean. If it rains once it gets surface rust. Good old Autosol has done me proud today though

No, I don't. I've got and have owned plenty of fours, sports and otherwise - they simply do not work in the manner you describe.

Heed, I like that a lot.
Love the 'industrial' look of those monsters.
Mmm, tempted. .....what's it like for reliability?

You need a tailtidy aswell.. And some carboncans would do her good!

Otherwise, beautifull bike! I really like the bellypan, and the #1 on the heck!
I was standing between Monster and SV when I was buying, but (as you might have understood already) I went for the SV.

The cans I have on are race cans so it's not worth the outlay for carbon ones unless I sell mine. The noise they make is fantastic so I'll be sticking with them. A tail tidy might be an idea in the future.

Thanks for the ideas mate.
