They have a run in the garden too. I think they're great little pets, if you're certain you'd be happy with only keeping 2 or 3 hens then the eglu would be fine...chickens are kind of addictive tho so if you think you might want more then it's worth getting something bigger. The house they're in now was about £400. An eglu's about £300 iirc so there's not a huge amount in it really

wanting more chickens at a later date is a danger i suppose. your hen house looks pretty, where did you get it from?
