Re: Thames Valley Group Section - Will you attend?
Ah, that sucks. Did you have breakdown cover or anything?
Looks like we're going to the Flowing Spring for 7, then. Unless someone comes up with a good alternative choice and posts before 5! Are we going to go for a ride too? |

I'm always up 4 a ride. I assume as everyone is riding there we're not gonna be on the beer (well I'm not anyway) so yeah, chin wag then ride maybe. we can decide in the pub i guess

Re: Thames Valley Group Section - Will you attend?
Bummer to hear about the chain Simon, though at least it happened at low speeds as it could of been nasty! Still its a good excuse for not meeting me
The FS at Sonning sounds like the place for us. If we like it we can use it regularly and if we dont then we can pub-***** until we find a good one. Worst case scenario we use it as a place to meet and then go somewhere else! Its near Shiplake which means i should be able to find it and if i can anyone can! |

Re: Thames Valley Group Section - Will you attend?
I may be able to stop by as I'll be over in Woodley which isn't a million miles away!
I know a nice little route for a rideout too.. I'll try and get there for about 7.30 and hope you are all still there. Kightrider - I know the Feathers, nice pub but the gravel car park isn't ideal for the bikes. Could be worth a try though.. |

Re: Thames Valley Group Section - Will you attend?
Lets just say the Flowing Spring it is then. 7 onwards, but we can wait around for a fair while until people are all there. I will PM a few people my mobile number incase they need to contact us. Weather seems to be sunny clouds forecast now. And I notice that Saturday went from full sun to rain in about 4 hours! Anyone get the feeling the BBC weather site is like a one armed bandit; you just log on, pull the handle, all the icons spin and then it selects some at random...
