Ditto Tony K's coments.
At this time of year and having a son of around the same age it certainly makes you realise how fortunate you are when you get up in the morning and all is OK.
I have to take my hat off to the parents. They must be going through hell at the moment but they were full of praise for all the bikers who made their sons dream come true.

Fantastic.... am so pleased to hear it went well and can`t wait to see the pics. You must feel proud of yourselves those that went knowing that you`ve made Jack`s dying wish come true. All credit to you

i've read this thread a couple of times now, just read the update from Tonyk. My little boys 6. So it gives meaning reading it. I have a tear thinking of the little boy watching the bikes. To me imagining his face light up chokes me knowing that he got his wish. But that smile.......well done guys.

Well done to everyone that went, I think around 70 bikes turned up. I'm sure Jack would have been chuffed. Big pat on the back to you guys & girls! Here is a link to the site that I originaly heard about this as theres a couple of pics http://www.visordown.com/forums/show...=371561&page=5

I know it was short notice, I myself was unable to attend because my bike was stripped down, but I think this is because Jack is so poorly, everday that he is still here is a blessing and it isn't even certain if the poor little chap will see Crimbo, so things needed to happen pretty quickly.

I was thinking about calling the Make A Wish Foundation/BMF & give them sv650.org's details incase they need a hand with any other wishes, they can post here as soon as they can, which gives peeps as much notice as possible. Do you think this would be a good idea

I think thats an excellent idea... I couldn`t help with Jacks wish but i`d like to think that i`d be able to help out if ever we`re called on again. I hope for Jack and his family`s sake that he`s here to see xmas day but if he doesn`t its nice to know that one of his families last memories will be of his joy at his wish coming true and seeing all those bikes filing past his house. Oh god, i`m filling up again, best get off! Tis a subject way too close to my heart
