Embarrassed, nearly dropped the bike .......

I nearly dropped it today, about to park up going up a kerb and the back wheel span up on the stone kerb. That was a near one!

I dropped mine the day after passing my test.
Pulled into my mates driveway, waved at him through the window, stopped and waited for him to come out. I wasn't ready for the weight of the bike (I was slightly off balance) and toppled over. I didn't really drop it, just laid it down gently onto the ground and hopped away.
I performed a cat-like spring back up, grabbed the thing, lifted and managed to re-mount before he got to the door. It was dark and he couldn't see me flustering.

Doesn't know to this day. But his neighbours probably do!
