Tigersaw, I hear ya, however, in the interests of not derailing the thread..!
I have mid-morning snack of a Nutrigrain elevenses and a banana, Then lunch of sandwich (two slices of bread, made at home) with either ham/tuna/egg filling, pack of mini-cheddars, tesco low fat yoghurt (rhubarb's best), sometimes a piece of cake if the Mrs has been baking. Then apple for afternoon snack. Same as Northwind, it feels like groundhog day but it gives me the energy I need. If it ain't broke don't fix it! |

I'm not eating as badly as I thought then! I don't need to loose weight so just a yoghurt is not an option for me! I rarely have time in the mornings to make sandwiches and I don't like putting them in the fridge overnight so looks like I may have to get up earlier

Normally whatever is languishing in the fridge. or left overs (Roast chicken dinner today).
If I am in the office it is the battle of tescos butties to find the one packet that does not contain an emulsified oil&egg slop. why oh why do shops put this slop on their pre packed butties, can they not sell a sachet of the goo to those who want it.

I am a creature of habit - banana at 10am - one sandwich with either chicken/ham/beef with some mustard/cherry tomatoes/lettuce - one packet of crisps - half a grapefruit and another piece of fruit of whatever is about - usually 2 or 3 biscuits at about 3pm....

Cos it stops them from drying out, only reason... They stay edible for longer. Though that's a loose definition of edible of course. What really boils me is when you find the "no mayo" options, and they have creme fraiche or whatever it is on them. Surely the point of the "no mayo" ones is that they're not supposed to be covered in slime?
