its more likely then though that I would need to remap I suppose.
Did you need to remap/rejet yours?
I would need to drill out the rivet and replace with a nut and bolt but that should be easy.

No, I do know what you mean. decided the baffle is staying where it is as its quite good enough as it is. Think I must be getting old too! (34 is that old?)
Even though i could probably get away with it with the neighbours as its more of a *weekend toy* and no early morning starts etc!

yeh if u aint got a noisy exhaust on an sv ur seriously missing out, definatly one of the main features of the bike is its incredible blasting roar

Nah I'm sure I could give us all a far worse name being a tool on a standard bike than I could being sensible on a loud one

very true, there are alot of dodgy riders floatin about on the roads who have less brains than bhp, (says alot about the moped riders near where i live hahaha) however i do comlpetely love the roar of a v-twin and wud hate to see mine baffled up
each to their own though

put a carbon can co can on my sv. Had the baffle in as i don't want to attract attention to myself until i've got rid of my restriction. Word of advice is go with a hacksaw as the pipe just crumbles with the grinder, i got half way with the grinder and swapped it for a hacksaw for a better cut.

But defo a great upgrade. Just need to do the front springs now
