Ordered some Hagon Springs and 10w fork oil. Came to £62 so I'm happy with that. Should be a worthwhile upgrade along with the rear shock .

That was from intobikes.co.uk . It's Hagon fork oil too, so it matches if you have OCD about that kind of thing!

Does the Hyperpro kit consist *only* of the two springs? (ie no spacers etc?) as I'm looking at a second hand set

That means absolutely nothing. The hagon springs will work better with an ohlins shock than with the hagon one for example.

Large socket, can't remember the size but can measure later, 12mm socket for the yokes, breaker bar, a torque wrench, and a method of raising the front of the bike.

Plus a 17mm for the axle, 8mm for the mudguard, 14 for the caliper bolts, 10 for the Pclips. (on the curvy)

Morning all.

I've fitted hundreds of Hagon springs over the years, & never had a complaint about them. They just work, simple as that!

One point worth mentioning when changing fork springs is that it's very important to follow the spring manufacturers recommendation for oil weight & level. Which, certainly in the case of Hagon springs can vary considerably form the standard settings.
I did supply a set of Hagon springs to a 1200 Bandit owner, who despite me telling him to use the Hagon oil supplied with the springs & to set the oil level to that written on the end of the box, proceeded to use a heavier oil set to nearer the standard level. Now they were the proverbial 'Iron bars'
It turned out that his 'armchair twiddler' mate from the pub said that a difference of 46mm in oil level must be cobblers, & that a heavier oil would be better in any case.... He knew better obviously, despite Hagon having spent several thousands of pounds on R & D.

When setting the oil level it's very important to make sure all the air inside the forks has been removed. so, pump the forks up & down at least a dozen times after adding the oil, & then with them fully compressed & vertical let them stand for at least 5 minutes before adding or removing oil to the correct level.

Cheers.
