aftermarket plastics are cheap...

the upright riding position is very good in traffic, the difference between the view from the SV is marked.

The NC23 is a CBR400 IL4, not a VFR400 V4.

If not a Drz-400, then what about a DR350? I had one of these and loved it! can be had for around a grand or less

Have i missed something, why sell the SV to get an old cr*p bike for comuting on.

Surely it would have been better to have kept the SV and got a winter hack commuter?

E-mailed a few dealers yesterday seeing what other deals were about on these and only one has e-mailed me back so far - they obviously don't want to sell a bike to me!!!!

I always find that its best to phone or call into the shop. I bought my SV from sturdeys in 2004...they're an okay dealer but they dont like haggling. They'd sooner lose the business than try and haggle for it IMHO and experience. But they are decent enough blokes in there.

Also try Laguna's in maidstone...they do like to haggle! If you are looking at another new bike then it would be worth looking further afield as most dealers will deliver for free or for a nominal(normally about the £75 - £100 mark) fee.

Why did you sell the SV? Especially if you're going to replace it with a crappier bike?

As for your back...I'd steer clear of the h**da then....
Naked bikes are usually upright and with a decent screen on the front you wouldn't notice the wind at town speeds anyway.
