Nope, I am going to avoid this. My previous bike had 52 bhp, it was enough to ride alone, but for two that was horrible ...

Given this I can't imagine myself on 34 bhp moto

Ah right, I think rover did the same on the 1.4 K-series with a shorter throttle cable.

It's most likely the ECU since it came from suzuki like that. They aren't particularly expensive used.
