If you buy a cheap coms kit you WILL regret it. It will not last as long as Autocom and will not be as good in use. All the recommendations in this thread for Autocom are given because we all have had good experiences with them. Buy Autocom and you will be happy you did or buy a cheaper unit and wait for it to breakdown.

i went down the cheap option and got a bike it vox box for like £15. It works fine up to about 70-80mph, simple to use just 1 box with 2 mic's sound quality is decent at low speeds and everything is clear, so for 15 would reccommend one.and since the gf only comes out every now and then cant justify spending 200 on a kit.

Finally...
I have taken onboard everybodys advice regarding autcom for bike comms, have just ordered their 2009 model basic kit from bikebitz. £200 with a pillion headset. Thanks again for everyones input. Phil |
