Carvery?

(normally in a pub and not generally expensive... and normally has lots of space.....)

Or we can all track down a burger van.... light a few candles to keep us warm....

OR.... Maccy D's party section... I call dibs on the high chair!!!!!

Southend Hospital has good food.....

But on a serious note.....

Carvery maybe?

I'll keep my eyes and ears open for some places

Seeing as nobody has suggested anything major, perhaps just a general meet somewhere with some drinks and some pub food?

Suggestions of places are welcome, as most of the ones that I know are probably a bit out of the way for people. (southend, rayleigh etc)

what date would you be thinking??

We have rather a lot on over the weeks from the beginning of December.....
I might allow P off the ball and chain over the 12th weekend, as I'm on nights

However if I chat nicely to my chauffeur, hes driving me down to London on the 19th of Dec for the weekend. I could persuade him to do a detour on the way back on the Sunday maybe. Might be a little too close to xmas for some though.

Chelmsford should be cool.

I know I'm unavailable 11/12th and 22-24th. Any other dates are fine so discuss dates people can do and we'll say a pub around chelmsford?

My only concern is that being that close to christmas may mean that the pubs are full/busy?

Because some of us 'belong' to both sections and have already said we'll be at the Soho event !!

I still don't see how that's relevant because not everyone goes into SOHO? Most people on here may not be happy with another date because of other committments. The fact that you and one or two others choose to go to SOHO, I feel, should not dictate what the date would be for the Essex Lounge meal.

I'm not trying to upset anyone, but surely the date for a specific regional meal shouldn't be influenced by other regions.

Just my opinion...
