Way to work, its the duel carridgeway from Elland Road, to Armley Gi-rate and then carry on through the tunnels. If its clear enough pop up the visor and drop it into second then grin as I pass through the tunnels and everyone moves out of my way.

On the way home, its the found about at Chainbar. If the lights are working in your favour its a tight left off the motorway, then a right round the round about then a tight left to exit. Its poetry when you get it right.

When it's dry I go a longer way home through some resdential areas. There's an ace 110degree corner that's really tight and it cambers perfect. Love getting my toe down on that one for a bit of scraping

I only commute on my bike on Saturdays but the best bit is going home, with 3 of the people i work with heading the same way or meeting one of them in the morning by coincedence

I'm really lucky as I work in the middle of the Derbyshire countryside (here) and my commute is great. No traffic and some great country roads. If I go on the Strom it's 15-20 minutes with some nice twisties and straights where I can get right up to the national limit ().

Best though is on the pushbike where I can take about 40 mins and go through some lovely little lanes and only meet about 3 cars. Quite a hilly route so a good workout and after a shower you start work feeling wide awake.

Cheers Keith

Edit - well that link doesn't help much - I linked to a satellite photo of DE56 4AN but it just shows the whole of the UK. Anyway you can enter the postcode if you wanna see it. Cheers

Would have to be giving it some stick through the tunnel which goes under Hyde Park Corner and on to Piccadilly.... I love that part. Two lanes which are always clear save for another bike or two, down the hill and into the tunnel, sweep right, straighten up, sweep left, up the hill and back out into the world.

A 30mph limit, but most bikers seem to do some interesting speeds through there!

Sometimes I go in through Trafalgar Square, and on that route the tight little uphill 90 degree right-hander at the lights when you turn off the Charing Cross Road onto Duncannon Street in order to join Strand is great for getting low down, provided the lights are green when you arrive and the oncoming carriageway is clear.

I also get a special pleasure opening the throttle through Admiralty Arch and onto the Mall on the way home, not sure why.
