Arrgh, was off the forum. I don't suppose it was still there this morning was it Dangerous? Hillingdon isn't too far and as the police said, if they were nicking it for parts they might dump it when they realise that it's Datatagged!

With regard to security, apart from the datatagging, it was parked near a streetlight outside my door with an oxford monster lock & chain on it. I hadn't covered it because it was dry (idiot) but then if they've been around before I'm not sure that a cover would have helped.
I lock it to the lamp post when I can get a space by it but not that night.

Bad luck, all the best with either getting it back, or getting a new one. And of course knee capping the gits.

Sorry to hear this!

I have a webcam set up as a cctv camera. It runs on motion detection... As soon there is movement It starts recording and playing an alarm through my speakers. Saying that I have my PC running 24/7 but i only have the motion detection on when I'm asleep or at work.

+ My Katana arrived today. (ordered from china 1 month shipping )

So I'm just waiting for someone trying to steal it.

Was this easy to set up? I have a machine running 24/7 & it'd be nice to put my webcam to good use.
Assuming of course I get back on the road any time soon.
I've had a daydream look at bikes out there and if I get the garage sorted this would be quite nice!

Yes very easy to set up.

There's lots of motion detection software on the net. for Free. I even got one with my web cam as a software bundle.

Cool, ta. I'll have a look. Whatever I end up getting will be as secure as I can make it, including CCTV.
