LCD TVs - anyone got any suggestions?

IMO CRT can still make more sense for medium sized screens... A year ago my Panasonic was £270 for a 28", and has better picture quality than I've seen on most similiar sized LEDs costing twice as much. It's not HD though, just a very good old-standard tube. Of course, it's the size of a car, which would be considered a disadvantage by some And it weighs as much as a grown man- when I helped my brother move into his 4th floor flat I wished he'd bought an LCD not a big CRT...

But then, because they're so unfashionable, and physically awkward to stock and distribute, a lot of companies have pretty much got out of the CRT market- there's less choice and less price competition than there was a year ago...

Been playing around a bit and so far this is what I have come up with Toshiba 37WLT66 £758.01 and
£169.00 for a 3 year warranty from Digitaldirect.co.uk...was going for a 32 but hey

I like the 68s minimalist look. i.e. 32WLT68 32" - price is hiking from my£600 spend - also only want 26".
