Anyone been to Dubai?

never been there but it is a place i would like to got to though,maybe if i ever win the lottery

Id love to turn up there with a rucksack and one man tent, two pairs of socks and 1 spare pair of boxers and see where they would let me pitch up for a fortnight!

Water park is outside that 7* hotel.

Can you walk in the hotel and have a look around like you can in Vegas, or is it "only come in if your staying" type thing?

i think it costs about 20 dirhams to go in and look around

iirc you cant take any pics other in reception - which in itself is rather impressive

Yeah just heard, largest in teh world or something. I'll be going there. Learnt to ski at the start of this year

when are you in dubai?

i live here and we can meet up for a beer or something. Will is out here and we catch up from time to time... we're due a beer together so we can invite hime along.

You can do basically everything you can do in london (maybe except the theatre side of things).

if your here in the next week, its a bit quieter because of Ramadan.

if you get chance go on one of the desert safari's. or get a hire car and head out towards Hatta.... its on the east coast towards oman.
