I was under the impression that Honda UK had taken them all back following a number of stability incidents, one of which caused the death of a traffic officer.

Ask on this site who has

a) been stopped by the police and had commited some type of offence (speeding, mobile anything) and not had a any more than a roadside telling off? or

b) if they have been stopped for speeding and they ended with a lesser punishment than they thought they would get?


On a side note I can set off as many as five cameras on the way to a call, thats not a boast just a fact of driving in London.

Honda only took the 1300's back as those are the ones that had issues.

I believe it was also at the discresion of the individual force if they returned all the 1300's they had.

Your friend thinks he got a result...and yes he did. But perhaps the police officer couldn't prove he was doing over 100mph. If the Police car wasn't fitted with the correct equipment the officer would only have his opinion to prove the vehicle was travelling at over 70mph. I guess he wouldn't be able to prove it was travelling at over 100mph. The prison officer might think it was because of his job...but was it, or does he just think that? My thoughts are if your going to get stoped its better you get stoped by a police officer than flashed by a camera which has no discresion. But thats a whole different story................

there all wrong... for example you dont have to be on a blue light run in order to "make progress" I dont care any way, someone in the world needs to catch a break sometimes....
