When I watch Road Wars, all the Traffic cars have ANPR and while they're going about there business the ANPR is picking up stolen cars, uninsured and otherwise Wanted criminals.

Still don't see the justification for taking up an expensively equipped & manned van, Double yellow lines a Police bike & Car just to monitor one little road in Guildford.

And their not even raising any revenue from catching Speeders!

Maybe if you were privvy to their intelligence system you might change your mind about that! Who knows what information they have received?

One thing I would like to say about all the police knocking...

Yes there are some cops out there that are useless, abusive, power-hungry and lazy...!

However when you:

-Comment or moan about things, without having full knowledge of the reasons why or the full facts of the matter:
There are systems, procedures, intelligence, operations, paperwork and laws that we all have to abide by.

-Think that the police aren't doing their jobs, are targetting the wrong people or are just useless:
This a hard, thankless, stressful job where you have to deal with constant soul-destroying things on a daily basis.

For those of you out there who AREN'T police officers:
Please don't condemn us all, there are some good officers out there who are hardworking, who joined this job to help people (and do)

Its not an easy job at all, but SOMEONE has to do it.....................

....Be glad it's not YOU!

So is anyone else starting to wander whether the presence of all the cops on this site is some kind of sophisticated pan-UK operation, designed to get us on side before pouncing on us for small numberplates or something?

Probably also in league with the traffic wardens in Soho...
