I have done. countless times in fact. Once on a push bike too. One of the best things i've ever done.

I've done it in a small coach too. Believe me it's scary looking over the edge and not being able to see any road, especially when there is a truck passing you on the inside.

give clarkson his due then not many would do that kind of stuff just to entertain you.

Happens all the time. We came across a lorry that had nearly tipped over.

ha yeah those people looked peed off too waiting for him some of them were hooning it down that road nuts.

I did wonder if the beeb had sent one of the camera cars to meet him.

Very entertaining though. Those drops looked terrifying.

Thats a good point binky, i didnt notice that at the time, he did say they pass on either side but not when your going wrong way.

Its all staged, makes it more entertaining to watch though. If they just let if flow it would be just like a michael palin travel show.
