Okay so I just listened to Tom Sawyer and I'll toss that out for a great opening bass riff.

And I'd like to add Amiee Mann, fomerly of Til' Tuesday, in as a great basist too.

Anything Victor Wooten. It aint rock but he's a mean bass player.
