Punching someone with bike gloves - anyone done it?

'course, you shouldn't really be ****ting anyone in the head with a closed fist. Remember that the skull is the thickest bone in the body (there to protect the nerve centre- for those of us that have them! lol)- even with a glove on, you're far more likely to break your hand (aparently even boxers don't go full pelt to the head). In fact, you'll hurt your hand more without a glove on.

Moral of the story- if you're gonna smack someone in the bonce, use an open hand. And getting a hard dry slap and going down has gotta put a seriously great dent in anyone's pride!!

While this might apply to you taking your latest batch of fairy cakes out the oven, I don't agree with you when it comes to hitting someone.

A boxer straps his pandies to help prevent injury to himself and then dons his gloves to help minimise injury to his opponent.

If gloves really did hurt the opponent then this would make ultimate fighting and bare-knuckle fighting just plain gay wrestling.
