Mark, the screens I looked at would not look right on the K6 so I have given up on the idea.

However, last Sunday (before it rained) I tried some ear plugs and a balaclava and was able to ride along the motorway at 90mph+ with the wind noise very much reduced.

The balaclava helped make the lid a little smugger without any detriment and with the plugs I was still able to hear the bike.

I just treated myself to some custom plugs. Nothing worse than bad fitting plugs or struggling to get them in. Usually if they're fiddly you are tempted to go without them and that way leads to hearing damage. You'll find loads of info saying 15 mins at 90mph is the same as a day in a sawmill and other entirely un provable "facts" Quite expensive at about £50 but dead comfy.

I'm considering getting a screen now I've gone off the idea of getting a Thundercat. Anyone any pictures of one of the Hein Gericke screens fitted?
