thats a nice guitar smudge, what wood is the body made of, my ibanez is mahogany but veneered with some other crap for some bizarre reason, i would have preferd to have the mahogany polished

I got a nice one my Les Paul jobbbie sits in, all velvety inside so's not to scratch the shiny black finish and gold bits, got loads a spaces for leads and stuff

And no, Steve Vai learned how to play the guitar with Joe Satriani, Zappa only taught him some more important stuff... anyone can w@nk around the fretboard at the speed of light (practice, practice, practice and then some more practice), but to actually do it in a coherent and interesting manner is a completely different ball game.

Nope sorry. Seen a vid of Zappa a live performance. He wouldn't start a song becuase the rest of the band didn't start at 'EXACTLY' the correct time. Buggered if I could tell the difference. Made them do it 4 times. You must have Preternatural hearing to tell the difference.
