A bike can be slowed down with drum brakes - doesn't mean disc brakes are for girls!

I can definitely see the point on the track, but on the road there isn't so much need to hurry your downshifts.

I dunno I can bang the SV down through the box pretty sharpish and still control the skipping of the rear wheel enough to stop me falling off. Wouldn't say I'm a slide-god but it's bloody good fun. Not with the stock shock though...

Not enough power to justify the use of a Slipper clutch on the SV, why waste the money!

It's his money! Can do what he wants with. And surely it's not so much out and out power, rather back torque?
