if you ride the DRZ for the power you'll always find it wanting...

if you want something with supermoto handling but SV power you need to pay a fair bit more and expect much more maintenance in the pipeline

also bare in mind that a DRZ is a very entry supermoto bike which if you chop the airbox and rejet the carb could change a fair bit!!

but don't expect the power delivery of an SV

What is wrong with an SV650?

It looks great, well at least the pointy ones do!
It goes like stink!
Sounds the b*ll*cks!
It is reliable!
Easy to modify!
Handles nicely!

That hasn't helped really, because I love my SV...............it is all the bike I need, but unfortunately finances dictate otherwise.

So, get a brand new one on finance - I don't know if it's available
Or get a £1,000 one

At least it comes with the original headlight, then all you have to do is deal with a muppet that takes a picture of his clocks with the ignition off (mileage not showing)

Get a cat C'd curvy... 800 quid or so, cheap, reliable and fun. You want to commute on it, who cares? I might even ride a pointy if it was the cheapest option at the time.

Bandits can be fun in much the same way as the SV in that you can concentrate on ragging the thing to death, but they feel different, not sure how.

Totally unreliable, but what about TZR or something like that? Cheap enough and easy to fix the inevitable engine demise.

Or for something a little slower, an SRX600
