Damn sorry to hear about your off.

Hope your OK.

My dealings with Carole Nash have always been good- they are helpful, friendly and reasonable.

Or maybe that's because of my sexy telephone voice....

OUCH! They're some friction burns you got there.

How far did it slide?

Not that I was bored waiting for the recovery truck but it slid for 133 of my size 41 boots. Well, thats the length of the mark on the road anyway.

IS the frame damage at all? Engine and everything else working?

If so why not junk the lowers for the time being being, get the end can repaired, new clip on and buy a new uper fairing, bar end weight and more crash bungs? It will cost a few hundred for sure. However not that much to be riding again. Would that be better than the insurance route?

I bough a second hand lower right side fairing for my bike for about £40 inc postage off ebay. But the bits you need now to be riding get new, might be worth thinking about.

To be honest I expected to see a totally trashed bike, but am relived that you walked away as already said, yes its damage but doesn't look too bad.

Good luck dude, hope you heal fast and get your bike fixed.

The engineer rang me up today to ask a couple of questions. Whilst on the phone he went through a few of the damaged parts with costings. To my surprise he has also listed the bottom yoke......
