good nice lot of oppinions there. I think at worse they are over priced, at best they are better than sliced bread? good assesment?

thanks for that tip, Ive also read that the wire can get burnt through but there is a easy fix for that avaliable on ebay.
You can buy all the spare you need for them. Just a quick serach on Google will confirm that. However, the company charges you £25 to repair them, Plus you posting them to them. Its a simple job(if you are good with a soldering iron that is)

They did in the early days when everyones where packing up, but now im not sure. What the actual problem is, is the thermal fuse 'shrinks' therefore reducing its temprature rating, then eventualy it blows.

DO NOT BUY OFF EBAY !! I paid £80 plus postage and they was still fake. Even my hairdresser struggled to tell the difference they were that good.

Shame Paypal stitched me up and wouldnt help me out, hence they no longer have my custom, nor do ebay !

https://www.ghd-uk.co.uk/

Got my original ones from here, next day delivery and free products and still cheaper the GHD. GHD told me about this company LOL, official retailer !

I've just noticed this thread the noo, funnily enough i was offered these in pink 2 days ago @ 55 quid supposedly off the back of a wagon as many pairs as i wanted but knowing the calibre of scum round my way they will deffo just be fake ones. Wor lass has some black ones that are apparently spot on if thats any help (think they were about 120 from a shop), i dont play with them anymore since having a go with them and burning all my fingers on me right hand tut.

cheers mick
