I have heard good reports of the new Roadsmarts and apparently they can last a long time too. May see next time around depending on costs for them or Avons.

Avon Storms come out as the top tyre in the wet, with Pilot Powers being 2nd or 3rd in the Ride mag supplement.

My stock tyres have got 7,300 miles on them and the back is starting to square off a little so I reckon I'll go for whichever is cheapest between the Storms and the Michelins at the end of the month. From all I've read, there doesn't seem to be too much between them, so cost will be king.

Im happy with the o/e tyres on the 675 (yes i must be mad as even the lass from Ride mag said they scared her so much in the wet she took them off), but when they are due for replacment and i'll prob bung some metz mz6's on her

OK, have decided.

Couldn't find a local fitter doing Storms. So, bike is booked in at Sticky Jim's in Shifnal (east side of Telford) tomoz for a change. It'll be shod with Conti RoadAttacks - £206 pair fitted, and I get a 5% discount for being a member of Telford & Wrekin IAM.
