Hello .
fitted new tyre today at work
and i went to fit my tail tidy then relised i have to cut the old one down ?
so i started to cut it down but im not sure how far ?
here is a picture of how much i have cut down .

Its cut down too far TBH. You cut the top mounts off the tray?

Im tight lol

I cut loads off, but did keep the base of the box bit the ecus in, and used that as a flap to fold upwards.



This is before i used an angle grinder to finished the sides. I used 1 b&q bracket to hold the flap up from above, and 2 more painted black for the numberplate holder. The brackets are connected together through the flap by bolts at the sides and middle, very strong.

Theres even less of it left now to make room for my new battery box. chopped it all off where the +/- symbols are.

think it must have been a trainee butcher!! its serving its purpose as something i don't mind chopping up to sort out the battery mounting. just got to wait for a lad at work to make a new battery box up just got hold of a piece of stainless steel that he's going to make it from

on the tray I sent the front was me for a zx10 shock, the back was the previous owner
