Not wanting to start another ruck, but it makes things harder for people who generally suffer from this condition when people claim that they are dyslexic when they are not. (Before i get into anymore trouble, this comment is not directed at you.)
Any way, I think i have said enough, and I will get my coat.
No worries,

I know what you mean though..and yer doesnt do us any favours when ppl cry wolf....

I've never seen anybody post that as a reason for bad spelling, I've got mild dyslexia, I just make sure I double check my post first, I do struggle more with it when I am tired and stressed though.

I think that we should just live and let live, if you can be tolerant a bit of bad spelling and work out what the posters intention was then fine if you can't just politely ask them to explain what it is they are getting at.

Alex - I've never had a problem with what you post and the way that you post it, not getting at you here.

Never thought u were gettin at me mate!!

My spelling is usually atrocious as i type too quickly as i usually sneak posts in at work,

and just to bore everyone, the condidtions of my dyslexia are such that i can think faster than my hand can write and type, and what i think doesnt end up on the page or the screen, .

i find sequencing difficult too, hence the dogy spelling, numbers can be pain in the ****, but not all the time,

The other problem i have is proof reading, i cant spot my mistakes...which is also a pain...but hey ho, im only 20, so with any luck ittl get better with time....

Mine is different, it is only mild, but sometimes I get the correct letters in the words, but in the wrong order, or I will write or type a word and it just looks spelt wrongly when it isnt. I get the thing with where to put the c when in relation to ie wrong alot to.

I have real trouble with sequencing of big colums of numbers and they always swim and jumble around in front of me, I was told I was poor at maths because of this and labelled by one particular teacher as stupid.

I find that I tend to get most of my spelling right. Probably because Im aware of my problem so I tend to be on the lookout for it and spot it. I tend to find it takes a while to post things because a lot of the time Im correcting those errors.

And they tend to increase the more tired and stressed I am aswell.

But as fizz said, live and let live.

As a parent of a child with dyslexia, I am amazed that anyone can take the p out of this condition. When your children are born, you imagine them in 20-30 years time in the role you had always evisaged for yourself, if you had been given the opportunities and help that you know you will give to your offspring. (Well I did) just to see your dreams for them shattered as they go through school and emerge emotionally scared.

Those of you who do suffer from this condition, I admire your determination to overcome the condition and get on with your lives as normally as possible.

IMHO personally because they are tucked down away at the bottom of the page and newbie's don't always see those sections, also I find I get a quicker response if I put a post in the tuning and tweaking rather than the correct section.

Also it says reviews at the top of that section, which implies stating an opinon of a product. Therefore you cant expect question on how to fit a new can in the exhaust section IMHO.

iwas very lucky that my mum and dad were v suportive...my dad is heavily dyslexic and it took him years to admit being a proud male,

I have problems when i was at school when all my frinds where straight a students ans i was gettign work back with "must work on ur spelings" or simmillar,
I was lucky enough tto go to a proper examination place, and got certified, this meant come my GCSE' i had my own little seperate room to do them in, which meant i left school with 5 A's 3b's and 2 c's and hve gone on to completed an onc at college and now completing the HNC next month (if i ever finish my college work)

The best thing you can do for somone who suffers is to offer assistance when they ask....

the number of times i threw my maths books at the wall, i lost count...

When pll meet me they laugh if they find out im dyslexic cause they dont believe me.... im flattered but sometimes it can really get me down.....but usually its ok.

We live we learn we cope we get on we succeed!! (says he being on here instaed dof doing his coursework)

So is my dad, he's never really admitted it. When he was at school they never really understood it so consequently he got labelled as stupid and left school at 14. He's gone on to run his own building company and has my total respect for that, he does his own paperwork, except for his accounts. Its never stopped him doing and achieving what ever he wanted to. I totally respect him for that.

*boots alex off the internet*
