Looking good there Patz.

Have you considered a gel battery? You can lay them flat under your seat or use the pillion storage or whatever way you need it.

Cans are 'just right' in terms of position and size now.

Do you intend to bring both linkpipes parallel downwards to the outside of the swingarm as per the Duke? Would be a nice touch.

Hi Haggis,

Thanks 4 the comments!

I've thougth about the gel battery but now I think I'll manage with the standard one as I can use the original (not original, bought one extra = used!) battery tray.

Regarding the double pipes from Ducati it would eb much harder to get those pipes installeed that the single pipe I'm going to install. The exhaust system will be a 2-1-2...

Best wishes,

Patrik

Hya!

Have thought about the colors of the bike and graphics e.t.c. ...

Will be painting the rear fairing (now yellow), bellypan and the front fender in dull black!!! ..oh and the subframe as well... Think that would be quite nice actually!

Have bought some skullish graphics to "get the right touch" (wanting an "evil" look ya now...). Will this by the way be "too much" or what you recon??

Best wishes,

Patrik

That is the best pan out there by far
I have one fitted and have to agree with Cloggsy definitely the best pan.

Looks a lot better imo now that you have moved the cans more under the seat

If you're tall enough,m get the rear raised... Really gives the bike a more aggressive look. I'd stay away from teh skulls though.

Hya guys!!

Spent approx. 7,5 hours in the garage yesterday evening... welding all night... not surprised to be quite tired this morning....

Faced several problems with the welding of the pipes. My first major problem was to get the cans to be fitted perfectly, this took me about 1,5 h!! At some points i was near to "crash" the project because of frustration... BUT patience pays off!!

Other problems was to get all bits, large as small, to get fitted with angles and stuff taken into consideration. Also keeping potential heat problems with plastics and brake lines in mind...

Except for a small scrub injury on my left hand fingers (while trimming... ouch!) I just went on welding, triming, welding, trimming... ... and screwed the pipes on and off about 20 times!

Will start trimming and polishing the pipes tonight...

Well the end result can be sen below. Tonight lads, I'm going to install the pipes and can and start her up for the first time since started the project!! Think I'll be in heaven if the sound is "right" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will keep em messages coming... any comments??

Cheers!
