Just a quick question. I have noticed that the Fabbri screens go for about £55 where as screens such as the Airblade ones cost around £35 - £40. Is there much of a gulf in quality, are the Fabbri screens really £20 worth better than say, an Airblade screen???

Would not go back to the OEM screen, look great in light smoke.

+1

My Powerbronze screen doesn't really cut wind noise down that much at all, but does seem to deflect the wind onto your shoulders/chin/neck more than the stock screen. Looks the muts nuts though in black on my black pointy.

I used to get a lot of turbulence under my chin with the standard screen, seemed to fire a lot of flies into my helmet. The Zero gravity cured that. (£75.00 though! ouch!)

Quality does cost, but to be honest the only real difference between the screens now a days is the style/mould of the bubble and the quality of fit. The quality of the plastic used is hardly any different between brands.

Thanks Dave. My main worry was that i didn't want to by a cheaper screen and find that it has no effect whatso ever on added wind protection.

The Powerbronze isn't exactly a snug fit either. The bolt holes line up OK, but at the top of each side where the fairing/fairing inner meet the screen, there's a gap of around 3-4 mm
