wouldnt sell my bike unless i had another lined up to take it's place though i find it hard to buy anything but sv's dont know why that is.

nothing special but I'd have to be forced to sell it I think. I've put too much time into it (fitting alsorts of bits to it: end can, db screen, lowers, tail tidy etc... YC fitted pads & braided lines for me and I've got maxton springs & gsxr shock sat waiting to go in). I do love riding but I think I've just gotten used to not riding due to weather/lack of time. Summer will be here soon, and I'll just have to ride in the meantime

I thought of selling mine earlier this year, and even got as far as putting on EBay. Took it off after not long though, when my wife convinced me to keep it. Haven't used it for about two months though. Taking into account getting dressed up, getting the bike out and changing at the other end, it takes longer to commute on the bike than by car, even though it's currently taking about 50 mins by car, so I don't use it to commute.

love my bike, wanted one for ten years and eventually passed my test in May. Never around at weekends and havent been out on it for 3 weeks/ battery is flat. Hmmm.

strangely enough, there's plenty of people talking about their batteries going flat after two weeks - at the longest point I think my bike wasn't started for atleast 4 weeks and it still seems to run fine... Knowing my luck it'll go tits up when I'm miles from home so I'd better not gloat.

And as for you dizzee - will the maxton's fit a curvy? If so, I might well sell the pointy and pick up a late curvy ... then again, curvys are ugly as feck so scrap that last bit

ride every weekday to work and back only missed one day when I had to much to carry, so went on four wheels.

Have you (op) thought of commuting on it? I don't go out at weekends on my bike anymore, traditional 'riding out' seems boring after commuting. It's great to use your bike every day and you have more 'sweet moments' in a week of commuting than weeks of joy riding.
