Erm....thanks for that.
Unless I was talking about the forum prior to this mushy thread.

Personal Attacks?

No-one has got me yet. Why am I being left out?

I'll buy another topbox, and have TWO on the SV. There you go! Mwahahhaha

No, seriously, lets all play nicley. This is the nicest forum on the internet, and the most freindliest. I guess we should all be proud that personal attacks and disputes (that arn't freindly disputes) happen far and few between, unlike on many other forums

Discuss.

As Micahel Winner would say, "Calm down it's only a forum". At the end of the day if someone's really pi$$ed you off, it's just the opinion of some bloke/girl on the internet. In the greater scheme of things it doesn't really matter.

However I do think you should name the people that are casuing you all this offence otherwise you'll get loads of people thinking, "Did I do something?" and the people that did offend your sensiblilities won't be any the wiser & still go on upsetting you without realising it.

That way you're doing something proactive about it instead of just letting it simmer.

Yep and then all that will happen is that everybody else will then start chucking mud at those particular people in every thread they go into and then you have the grounds for a nasty slanging match.

Its much better to PM a Mod or an admin and complain that way then it can be dealt with appropritely and if action is necessary it will be taken.

I dont like slanging matches and dirty washing done on the open forum it just spreads bad feeling and it makes things worse.

Morning all.

Having been involved in a few 'heated debates', mainly of a technical nature. I have to say that there are a fair few on here who can't distinguish gentle wit & sarcasm from genuine hassle.
I was under the impression that the little smilies were there to indicate that one is jesting, or attempting to lighten the tone, but they're obviously invisible to the aforementioned.

Fortunately most on here are good humoured, & enter into the spirit of things.

To those Pink fluffy types that don't, I say F@@K 'EM if they can't take a joke, & if they're not careful we'll send Yorkie round to bash 'em with his hammer!

Cheers.

I just re-read threads I've voiced an opinion on then spend the next 30 mins over analyising eveything I've said thinking, "Is he/she referring to me?" It's bl00dy annoying!

Personally I would like to know if I've caused offence/crossed a boundary. You then have a chance to do something about it, but without knownig what the issue is how can you expect to resolve it?

why did you feel the need to stick up for ping & mike?

why not, stay out of the argument, then it would not pi$$ you off as you put it?

If everyone treated each other with kid gloves, this place would soon die a death.

Abit of 'controlled' banter gives the place life.

Don't over step the mark for sure but don't expect the place to be draped in silk either.. we are all large, hairy, burly, manly bikers remember
