eyup nik, thanks for the suggestion mate. I've already been on 2 x impromptu recce's over the last 2 weeks with another to go. The route is currently looking something like this but it's still subject to change: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...74&ie=UTF8&z=9

It's gonna be a full day rideout starting at about 10:30am and finishing at about 15:30 including one big lunch stop in hawes with a fuel/fag break stop in the morning and one again after lunch.. The start and end points will have fuel & food as well so no one will be caught short at the start, during or end of the ride

Just need to have another run from settle to grassington to finalise whether we're going down the a65 (nice smooth twisty a-road but solid double white lines all the way down and lots of 30mph zones one after the other) or whether we can link some of the back roads around malham to link us over to grassington that way... apart from that the rest of the route is pretty much set. Will post full details as soon as I'm happy with the settle to grassington bit
