Ok so i got curious and was wondering now i have the sv what bike can i get when my restriction is over, was looking at the zx636 2005 model, sv1000s, and a few other just for fun e.g zx10r and the zx12r ( as i'd love either of these 2 more than anything) I got some quotes.
Here are the results 19 y/o, 3 yrs ncb, 3 points TPFT sv650s - £331 zx6r - £508 sv1000s - £439 zx10r - £488 zx12r - £389 Does anyone have any explanations as to why the insurance is so low on the zx12r? I read on mcn the 12r is group 13 and on bikez.com that it is 16. If it is 13 i can understand but how could a 200mph missle only be group 13. My theory is because its classed as a sports tourer and not a all out sports bike that brings the price down, but i still cant believe how low it is. |

That is MAD, and a bit wierd...
I shouldnt think youll want to get rid of the 650 so soon, without the restrictor its pretty quick (or havnt you got one on?), and also handles (as you might be able to tell) very well! Upto you though i guess. |

No not getting rid of it yet. Maybe 2 years after my restriction just because i love to tour and that would be ideal for me and the mrs to on

Same as me 21, its crazy. This could be my second bike, keeping the SV when the restrictions up but i could use this for touring.

It's quite simple. It's not a hooligan bike like a Niiiinjaaaaaaa Mate innit! so the owners are not crashing it or leaving it outside to be stolen.
