Sonic Boom.
According to the BBC today a sonic boom was heard over Shrewsbury, I heard it as i was working, they put it down to a eurofighter that had a system failure and had to decend 30,000 feet causing a sonic boom. What a load of rubbish, it was actually Ed out on his bike opening the throttle too quickly.

A eurofighter sure-as-hell wouldn't hit supersonic speed descending 30,000feet without intentially doing it!

What has the eurofighter got? 18 tonnes of thrust or something mental like that?
Who here can honestly say that given then chance they wouldn't give it some beans to see what it can do?
