Remember someone on here (or BTI?) waxing lyrical about the 1098 having never ridden or owned it. Well speaking to a house builder guy today who's got one and his advice is steer well clear.
Problems he's had so far... Leaking fuel tank, fogged guage. Stalled at lights and wouldn't restart. Needed new cams and ECu. He's getting rid of it because apparently the next thing to go will be the head gasket! He's not alone either...apparently - google "1098 problems" |
