Anyone know the approximate amount of miles the SV650S K6 will do on a full tank before it hits reserve?
The 2000 curvy I had before did around the 120mile mark before the light came on. Will it be around the same or is it a slightly bigger tank? Cheers in advance! ![]() Edit: Title is supposed to say Fuel Range not Rangs! Ooops! |

about same before light comes on but its all relative to how much fun you are having twisting the go bar. another 25 in reserve.

It'll be about the same as your curvey.
But it does depend on how much you are enjoying yourself. I had 80 miles out of K6 loan bike once ![]()

I used to get a fairly consistent 100 miles to fuel light, with another 30 on reserve, and I ride fairly "enthusiastically".
Racking up motorway miles, I've done 130 miles and still not seen the fuel light, so it does rather depend.

I commute 35 miles each way - usually see the light come on about 130 but dont fill it up until 140 just cos its easier to do near my house every other day

Just realised my Kwak Is just as if not more economical than the SV, got 135 miles out of it last weekend on Aroads Fuel light not on ans litrally squeezed 13L into it so had almost a gallon to go.
better ecconomy and faster, everyone is a winner. |
