Default Changing valve stem

Right then... I had a random flat on the way home last night, but the tyre holds air, which is making me suspect the valve... It's a pretty old one too. Now, last time I changed a valve I had a bolt-in one to fit, which was dead easy. But all the ones I have now are of the large rubber variety, much like this:

So... Never fitted one of these, haven't a clue what I'm doing. I'm assuming it fits from the inside, so that air pressure forces it in not out, is there any knack to fitting or is it just force?

Hi,

There's a simple tool for pulling them in (like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/KART-WHEEL-VAL...tegoryZ12230 )
.
And it's just a case of pulling through and making sure it seats.

But if you haven't got the little tool thing, which i haven't you cna use some pliers if you're carefull.
All i've done on the past couple i've done is lube it up with some soapy water, screw the cap on and use the pliers (on the cap) to pull it through, it'll pull through easily
