so, i have been a trypical australian bum and gotten caught up in life and haven't spoken to anyone in ages.
how slack am i? i miss the soho bunnies. i miss frith st and mr plodd. i miss the roar of a whole bunch of v twins. i miss all my hugs and friends. i really do. an awful lot. but its been fun here too. i have been hanging out with my friends, and playing all kinds of games, (board games, not naked twister bear! i know you'll have something to say) and been having lots of fun with my 675. i have loved it and hugged it and called it synical. now, what has been keeping me most busy recently is my mum's wedding. i was madly trying to sew 3 bridesmaid dresses to the satisfaction of very fashion conscious sisters. ( you know me, as long as its black, i'm happy. my sisters? not so much.) anyway, the wedding was a couple of weeks ago, and amazingly it all went rather smoothly. it was on a boat, in the sun in botany bay, and my mum is very very happy now. photos? oh all right. you get one, it will be the only photo of me not wearing black ever. enjoy it while it lasts! its lovely and cold here now, its frosting in the morning, and all that kind of winter stuff, but i feel i am prepared for it. if only our house had some kind of insulation from the outside world, but that never occurred to Australian builders. i have not been out on any more track days since just after raf left. but next weekend, i go to do a keith code california superbike school at eastern creek which i am looking forward to, albeit nervously. the weather is not looking promising. and once i have done that, i am going to be heading back onto the track soon. i've bought some race fairing for my 675, so i can throw it round the track and only worry about the sticky outy bits if i drop it! it seems like everyone has been having a very interesting time with the crashy mcgee yellow shirt doing the rounds still. and race reports. but i am gald to see we are all still friends. am i coming back? god i've still got another 2 wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses to sew yet! give me some time! i miss you all very much. almost as much as i miss the cider, ale and chips and mayo. Hi Gorgeous
![]() ![]() ![]() (but do have a rather nice mental image of you in my front room to treasure though instead ![]() I saw some of the pics of the baby Triumph, very nice (good training bike for a proper one ![]() Sounds like you?re having fun there, home is just home and no matter where you?ve been it?s just nice to come back as I know well. Me, well started a graduated return to work and the weekly Physio is, well if not fun useful at least, I suppose the walking stuff is going well, bit frustrating though, found I have two modes on the bike, relaxed and I don?t hurt myself, or fun and I pay for it after, but in my own time I?ve covered just under 7,000 miles in the last 7 weeks, so apart from the price of petrol, it?s all good. I have the copy of the pic I gave you up in my front room and do occasionally look at it and wonder what you?re up to. Take care and have as many virtual hugs as you ever need from me . ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Luv Mark.
