Default car rad question

bought a rad for my car and the idiot has sent me the wrong one from what was stated, its the same as the one i took out but the core is about 100mm roughly to long and the mounting points for the fan are in the wrong place aswell as being to far apart, other than that the rad itself fits in and all the mounting points / pipes marry up

the joker wont pick up his phone so looks like im going to be stuck with it

anyway question is: if i was to make up some brackets so the fan would be supported and fit, would i have any problems?

only thing i could see is that i would have better cooling and use more coolent?

As long as the brackets are sturdy enough to support the fan and that nothing is fauling any moving parts then it should be fine. O just out of interest Gavin, what car is it on?
